Overview
What is the Everest Base Camp trek?
A 12-day high-altitude trek through Nepal’s Khumbu region, beginning at Lukla and climbing gradually through Namche Bazar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorak Shep. Planned acclimatisation days help the body adjust as the trail gains elevation.
The route reaches Everest Base Camp at 5,340 m and includes an early hike to Kala Patthar at 5,640 m. Suspension bridges, Sherpa villages, traditional mountain guesthouses and close views of the world’s highest peaks define the journey.
